SUMMER FUN HOLIDAYS

Come and read our wonderful stories
about our Summer Holidays.
First, we wrote and drew brainstorms (plans),
and then we wrote a Draft copy.
Finally, we published and illustrated our Recounts
for an audience to enjoy.

TEAM BUILDING

Room 22 and Room 14 worked together in teams to problem solve 

how to use hoops to move across the river (field).

We had lots of fun and learnt how to work as a team.

Te Reo

This week in Te Reo, we sung our
Waiata and said our Karakia.
Then we revised our Greetings,
Numbers and Colours.
We played a game to learn the
Days of the Week and put them into sequence.
Finally, we recapped on 'Te Tinana' - Parts of the Body.
Thank you Mrs Harding for teaching Te Reo and making it FUN!

Tinker Time

For the next few weeks we have Cubetto in our classroom.
We use this throughout the day as part of our learning.
Ethan was an expert and shared his knowledge with the other students.
We use coding skills on a circuit board.
For Mathematics this week, we have practised coding to locate shapes.

Reading Tumble in Action

During our Reading Programme we are very busy
with follow up activites, like summarising the key ideas,
or reading Big Books, Poems and playing Word Games.
We also practise our Handwriting on the whiteboards.
